- Medium sauce pan
- Spatula
- Closable container for storage (if you’re making a lot)
Ingredients
- Frozen raspberries
- Frozen blueberries
- Chia seeds
- Neutral oil
Cook
Get started
- Begin heating the sauce pan on low
- Add some oil to the pan
- Add the frozen fruit
Tend
- Stir every few minutes until the fruit has thawed into a thick liquid
You don’t want any more than the barest of simmers. If the simmer becomes a boil, lower the heat!
Finish
- Simmer down to the consistency you want
- When it’s close, add 1T Chia seeds for each cup of fruit in your pan
Serve
- Spoon onto toast, waffles, or oatmeal
- Save for later in the fridge in a sealable container
