Equipment

  • Medium sauce pan
  • Spatula
  • Closable container for storage (if you’re making a lot)

Ingredients

  • Frozen raspberries
  • Frozen blueberries
  • Chia seeds
  • Neutral oil

Cook

Get started

  1. Begin heating the sauce pan on low
  2. Add some oil to the pan
  3. Add the frozen fruit

Tend

  1. Stir every few minutes until the fruit has thawed into a thick liquid

You don’t want any more than the barest of simmers. If the simmer becomes a boil, lower the heat!

Finish

  1. Simmer down to the consistency you want
  2. When it’s close, add 1T Chia seeds for each cup of fruit in your pan

Serve

  1. Spoon onto toast, waffles, or oatmeal
  2. Save for later in the fridge in a sealable container
