Hardboiled Eggs

Ingredients

  • Dozen eggs
  • Water (1C)

Equipment

Instant Pot + trivet

Prep

  1. Place trivet in the bottom of the instant pot
  2. Add 1 C water
  3. Add eggs to the trivet (carefully, one at a time)

Cook

  1. Set Instant Pot

    • Pressure cook
    • 6 minutes
    • Natural venting
  2. Prepare your preferred cool-down method:

    • Ice bath
    • Seal-able container
  3. Once pressure cooking time has elapsed, wait 3 minutes

  4. Release pressure

  5. Cool down the eggs using one of the following methods

    1. Ice Bath
      • Transfer eggs to the ice bath
      • Once cool, transfer eggs to a clean kitchen towel on the counter to air-dry
    2. Fridge
      • Transfer the eggs to a seal-able container
      • Seal it and put the container in the fridge
